The Fairtrade Schools Award is a campaign that gives primary and secondary school students the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of global issues and the fact that fair trade is the solution for so many farmers and producers. The award aims to teach students how they can be involved in changing the world around them, encouraging them and empowering them to make a difference.

Our club meets regularly with Mrs Wilson to discuss global issues and we decide what actions we can take to help.  We have regular Fairtrade assemblies to keep the whole school aware of the continuing problems that we can help with.

Here are some images from our most recent Fairtrade assembly.

Fairtrade Breakfast

Below are some pictures from our Fairtrade breakfast and fairtrade tuck shop.  Our Fairtrade children offered parents and children a choice of Fairtrade jam, honey, marmalade, tea, coffee and hot chocolate at our Fairtrade breakfast.  The Fairtrade club then sold Fairtrade sweets and chocolate  to the children at breaktime
