Worship

In this week’s Gospel, Jesus’ disciples argue about who is the ‘greatest’, but a Taskmaster-style challenge teaches children that the most important things in life are not winning, being the best or most beautiful. Instead, children will learn what Jesus taught His disciples: that to be the greatest in God’s sight, we must put others first.

Today we are writing a list of adjectives to describe the policeman in the clip.  Remember that adjectives are describing words. What does he look like?  What kind of a person is he?

 

Maths

In year one the children have been learning the ‘greater than’ , ‘less than’ and equals symbols and have been using these in number sentences.  They have been taught that the crocodiles mouth always wants to eat the largest number. Yum yum!  Put the correct symbols between the numbers.
